Decodji features six categories:
We're flexible with spelling! Minor typos are usually accepted, and you don't need to worry about articles like "The" or "A" at the beginning of titles. For example, both "Lion King" and "The Lion King" would be accepted.
Don't worry! You can keep guessing until you get it right. There's no penalty for wrong guesses - only using hints reduces your score. If you're really stuck, you can use hints or skip the puzzle.
Every day, three new puzzles are available for everyone worldwide - Easy, Medium, and Hard. Complete all three to build your streak and compete on the daily leaderboard. The puzzles reset at midnight Central Time (Chicago).
No! Daily challenges are completely free. You can play all three daily puzzles without using any energy. Energy is only used for Practice Mode.

Yes! Everyone around the world gets the same three daily puzzles. This makes it fair for leaderboard competition and lets you compare results with friends.
Energy is used to play puzzles in Practice Mode. You start with 10 energy and it refills to 10 every day at midnight. Daily challenges don't use energy - they're always free!
When you tap the Hint button, one letter of the answer is revealed. This helps you figure out the puzzle, but each hint used reduces your score by 20 points. In Practice Mode, hints are free!
There are several ways to get more:
Complete at least one daily puzzle each day to maintain your streak. Your streak count increases by 1 each consecutive day you play. Missing a day resets your streak to zero, so play daily to keep it going!

Leaderboards show the top players by score. There are three leaderboards:
Visit the Rewards tab each day to claim a prize. The rewards follow a 7-day cycle, with increasingly valuable rewards each day. Day 7 features a Mystery Box with bonus prizes!
No account is required! Decodji saves your progress automatically using your browser's local storage. Just keep playing on the same browser and device to maintain your stats and streak.
Your game data (scores, streaks, stats) is saved locally on your device. This means your progress is tied to your specific browser - playing on a different browser or device will start fresh.
Yes, you can reset your progress by clearing your browser's local storage for this site. Go to your browser settings > Privacy/Cookies > Clear site data for decodji.com. Note: This cannot be undone!

Streaks reset if you miss a day of playing. Make sure to complete at least one daily puzzle each day before midnight (Central Time) to maintain your streak. If you believe this is an error, try refreshing the page.
Sound effects require user interaction to start (browser policy). Click or tap anywhere on the game first, then sounds should work. Also check that your device isn't muted!
